The first impression your business presents to the public is your logo. When designed and employed properly, a logo can make your entire business recognizable with just a glance. As essential first steps to designing your logo, I employ research and extensive consultation with you to ensure a unique presentation while incorporating elements and colours that are important to you. Whether they see it in a newspaper or on a billboard, people will readily associate your logo with your business.

The resulting design will be easily transferable to any number of formats including signs, literature, television and newspaper ads as well as your web site. This serves to create consistent messaging regardless of how you approach your advertising and marketing.

Duplicate existing design:
In this option, the designer will use the existing logo as a model and incorporate colours and fonts that are as close to matching as possible without tracing. The finished product will be a close match to the existing design and is a lower-cost solution for the client. It can be used in all printing and web applications.

Trace existing design:
This option is done by copying over scanned atrwork provided by the client (usually their business card or letterhead). Results vary depending on several factors but most notably the quailty of the scanned original artwork. Every effort is made to ensure that the final product will be as close to an exact match as possible, resulting in sharper edges an colours.

New logo design:
A new logo is usually called for when the client is looking to redefine their public messaging. The designer provides the client with options to choose from and once a selection is made from the first drafts, the client and designer work through with refinements until a logo is created that reflects the client's intended messaging. This option results in a design that the client will use for years to come in all visual arts applications.
